The Bo Dudley’s
It was Saturday 18th September and the Bo Dudley’s, had been booked for the evening entertainment.
For those of you who weren’t there. WHERE WERE YOU?!?!. You missed a real corker of an evening. If you ever see the band advertised in your area then it is a must to go and see them. Honestly you won’t be disappointed.
The Bo Dudley’s are a five piece band from the Black Country who knock out high energy rock and roll and ragtime boogie woogie. They are first class musicians in their own right but if you add into the mix the showman ship, superb vocals and the unique style of jokes from front man QB Slim, who is a born entertainer, you end up with pure genius.
The music covered a wide range of genre to meet everyone’s tastes. Tracks such as: Route 66, Mustang Sally, Cheverolet, Ain’t Goin Down, Tulane, Sabre Dance, I’m on Fire, and who could forget Baby Please Don’t Go! The list goes on and includes many more by artists such as Elvis, Fat’s Domino, Queen, Garth Brooks, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis and Bruce Springsteen. All delivered by outstanding visual and musical performances.
These guys in my opinion didn’t put a foot wrong. With their own style of Rock n Roll and Boogie Woogie they were guaranteed to get you moving.
All in all a great evenings entertainment.
If you did miss The Bo Dudley’s at the Autumn Nationals then do not despair. They will be back. Yes that’s right they have been booked to perform at the Spring nationals on April 9th at Victoria Farm.
Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

A very enjoyable performance last night at the American Car Rally. The weather was not kind yet you managed to warm things up with your energy and humour. See you next time I hope.

I saw you guys at the Artfest on Saturday. What a performance! Great playing, great singing, great choice of songs, fantastic showmanship from your pianist and a very entertaining presentation.
Well done.

Hi Si
Just wanted to thank you for a fantastic evening. The field was buzzing on the Sunday, even people who hadn't been camping on the Saturday were talking about how good you were and how sorry they were to have missed you.You really put on a fantastic show. Can't wait to see you again!
With that in mind I would like to confirm our booking with you for next year.
Look forward to seeing you again and listening to more of your jokes!
Best wishes
Mick
"Making music at the beer festival Anthony Jones of The Bo Dudleys – who fill the Sunday lunchtime slot – has also promised drinkers a fun-packed time. The band will be replacing Three Wheel Drive following the death of Jeff Nadin. The Bo Dudleys perform fast-paced rock 'n' roll, rock and boogie-woogie, and pride themselves on their showmanship. Anthony will even be playing the piano with his feet during one Jerry Lee Lewis number! "
